  • Our Reviews Speak for Themselves

I had to remove two palm trees in my yard. They were not tall but blocked natural lights. I contacted Rolando and he gave me an estimate next day. I compared the price in the area and Aj’s price was competitive. I told Rolando that I want to get it done asap. He said he can come the same day. In 3 hours, he came with his crews. They climbed up the tree and cut from the top. And they ground the root. My house now has much better views and natural lights. I am very happy with A&J’s service and will use them again if I have any tree work.

MIKE HILTON, NEW YORK

Rolando and his crew at A & J Tree Service did a fantastic job at trimming our Jacaranda Tree. After obtaining multiple quotes from various Arborists, A&J came out on top. Not only was the quote very fair, I was impressed by Rolando’s knowledge and flexibility in completing the project. Last and certainly not least, the 400+ five star yelp reviews speak for themselves. A&J are our go-to tree trimming service, and I most definitely recommend A&J to family and friends.

Frequently Asked Questions About Finding the Best Arborist in La Puente

What is an arborist?

An arborist is a tree care specialist who is trained and qualified to properly care for trees, including pruning, maintenance, and removal.

Why should I hire an arborist?

Hiring an arborist ensures that your trees are properly cared for and maintained, which can improve their overall health, appearance, and longevity. Additionally, working with an arborist can help ensure the safety of your property, as well as your family and neighbors.

An arborist, tree surgeon, or (less commonly) arboriculturist, is a professional in the practice of arboriculture, which is the cultivation, management, and examination of individual trees, shrubs, vines, and additional perennial woody birds in dendrology and horticulture.

Introduction

When you’re looking for an arborist in La Puente, there are many factors to consider. You want someone who is knowledgeable, experienced, and trustworthy to care for your trees. With so many choices out there, how do you know which arborist is the best one for you? In this article, we’ll provide you with some tips on how to find the best arborist in La Puente.

Check for Certification

One of the first things you should look for when choosing an arborist is whether they are certified by the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA). This certification ensures that the arborist has the knowledge and skills necessary to provide proper tree care. You can also check if they are members of a professional association like the Tree Care Industry Association (TCIA).

Ask for Referrals

Another way to find a good arborist in La Puente is to ask for referrals from family, friends, or neighbors who have had work done on their trees. A good referral is often based on personal experience, and it can help you narrow your choices down to the best.

Insurance and Safety

It is essential to choose an arborist who has liability insurance and workers’ compensation in case of an accident or damage to your property. Make sure they follow safety guidelines and have the proper equipment to do the job.

Get a Written Estimate

Once you have narrowed down your choices, get written estimates from them. Compare their estimates on price, quality of service, and timeline. Make sure you understand what is included in the estimate and ask for clarification if needed.

Conclusion

Hiring an arborist in La Puente is an important decision that shouldn’t be taken lightly. Do your research and choose a certified, experienced, insured, and safe arborist you can trust to provide you with quality tree care services. By following the tips above, you can find the best arborist to care for your trees.

La Puente (Spanish for “The Bridge”) is a city in Los Angeles County, California, United States. The city had a population of 39,816 at the 2010 census and is approximately 20 miles (32 km) east of downtown Los Angeles.

The indigenous inhabitants of the area now occupied by the city of La Puente were the Tongva lived in a village called Awingna, which linguists translate as “abiding place.” The Awingna chief Matheo (who plus held sway over several other affable villages) was baptized at Mission San Gabriel in 1774.
